Have you been cleaning out closets lately and wondering what to do with all your old electronics and their equipment?

Don’t throw those items in to the trash for them to end up in a landfill.  RecycleForce is a local business located at 1125 Brookside Avenue in Indianapolis who would be happy to take them off your hands!  Simply put, they will recycle anything with a cord. They also accept all household recycling, cardboard, and bikes and bicycle accessories.

RecycleForce will deconstruct these items, recycle the materials and dispose of the waste safely and cleanly. The scrap metals and other reusable materials collected in this process are then sold to help pay for job training programs and employment opportunities for formerly incarcerated men and women in order to support their re-entry back into society.

Look at this cool info-graphic from their website:

Consumers are invited to bring electronics to the consumer recycling dock. Drive-through recycling is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm.  If you donate on Saturday, simply honk your horn in front of the drive-through entrance (suite D12) and RecyleForce will open the door and unload your car for you.  It can’t get any easier than that!

You may also take your old electronics to the Indianapolis City Tox Drop located at various places around the City.
