Classic Cleaners in partnership with Salvation Army Indiana Division and WTHR-13 will be collecting coats at the season opener Indianapolis Pacers V. Chicago Bulls home game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday, October 11, 2019.
This ends our 5 week drive of collecting, cleaning and sorting donated gently worn and new coats, scarves, gloves and hats customers donated by dropping off at our 20 locations and through our free pick up and delivery service. All coats collected Friday will benefit Salvation Army’s annual “Coats for Kids” drive.
On Friday starting at 5:30pm, Classic Cleaners employees will be stationed at 3 collection sites inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse prior to the 7pm tip off. Look for our large laundry carts with signage and the Salvation Army red aprons. You may even see the Shield Mascot!
Thank you to all our customers who have donated to this initiative thus far. We have been extremely busy collecting, sorting, and cleaning the gently used coats and we’re thrilled to do it!
Since the drive ends the night of the game, we are requesting NEW coat donations if possible to allow time to sort and deliver in time for Saturday, October 19th huge distribution day at the Indiana State Fairgrounds from 8 a.m.–2 p.m. in the Elements Financial Blue Ribbon Pavilion. Learn more.
