In Spring of 2015 we projected our move date for fall 2015 and it seemed so far off.
But now, it’s time!
Due to the growth of our customer base and amount of items we clean each week, we’ve outgrown our space at our current Bash Road location.
Mid November 2015, Classic Cleaners is moving the entire plant, the corporate offices, and our retail store, currently located on Bash Road, to our NEW location at:
8071 Knue Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
When we bought the existing building, we saw the potential to expand our operations and be even more Eco-Friendly.
Here’s how we’ve tweaked the new building:
- Many interior walls were removed to create larger spaces for daily operations.
- New construction was added to increase the plant size.
- Interior spaces were re-configured resulting in more work space for everyone in a more energy efficient building.
- We invested in energy efficient LED lighting that is also motion censored so they’re only on when someone is in the room.
We’re excited about the added space that will allow the following benefits for our customers and employees:
- Large designated space for brides to consult with our Wedding Gown Specialists
- Private accommodations for customers who need a fitting for alterations.
- Plenty of parking for our customers and visitors
- 24 Hour Drop off and Locker Service in the new Retail location
- Private offices for our management team including our alterations specialists and our shoe clean, polish and repair specialists.
- Additional break rooms for our employees.
- Additional conference rooms for interviewing potential employees and meeting with clients and community partners.
It’s been a busy, exciting, summer preparing the new building for the move this month. Promise times will be affected only slightly so please check with your store representatives and/or route drivers during the weeks of November, and especially the week of Thanksgiving.

Once the move is complete and we’re in a rhythm, we will begin to offer same day service Monday thru Friday on items dropped off by 10am. Stay tuned!
