Our History — Classic Cleaners in Indianapolis

Where It All Started

A Single Store. A Long-Term Commitment.

Classic Cleaners opened in Indianapolis in 1985 with a straightforward mission: deliver professional garment care that people could actually rely on. No gimmicks, no shortcuts. Just clean clothes and a team that paid attention to the details.

That first location laid the foundation for everything that followed. The same commitment to quality that defined Classic Cleaners from day one continues to drive every location today.

Four Decades of Expanding Alongside the Community

As Indianapolis and its surrounding communities grew, Classic Cleaners grew with them. Each new location wasn’t just a business decision; it was a response to the neighborhoods and families that had already trusted us elsewhere and wanted the same service closer to home.

Today Classic Cleaners serves customers across 19 locations in Carmel, Fishers, Geist, Noblesville, Westfield, Zionsville, Whitestown, and throughout Indianapolis, from Broad Ripple and Meridian-Kessler to Traders Point and downtown at Lockerbie Marketplace.

The Moments That Shaped Classic Cleaners

Same Mission, Every Day

Over four decades, the technology has improved, the locations have multiplied, and the services have expanded. But the things that made Classic Cleaners worth trusting in 1985 are the same things that make it worth trusting today: attention to detail, honest communication, genuine care for customers, and a real investment in the Indianapolis community.
