Too many kids in central Indiana go cold during the winter, and that’s why we’re do something to change that.

We’ve partnered with the Salvation Army and WTHR-TV to support central Indiana’s 2019 Coats For Kids Drive.

Classic Cleaners staff—across the region—are working together to professionally clean donated gently-used children’s winterwear before those items are sorted and shared with local toddlers, kids, and teens in need.

Warm Coats, Warm Hearts

You can help us make a difference before it gets bitterly cold again.

Start gathering no-longer-needed, gently-used coats and bring them to us before October 11 or ask your delivery driver to pick up your donation on their next visit.

Prefer to purchase a new coat? Drop it off to us, or bring it to the Salvation Army office located at 6060 Castleway West Drive.

More Ways to Show Your Support

There are several additional ways you can do your part to make sure every kid stays warm this winter has one.

Give other winter wear: We’re also collecting gloves, scarfs, and hats for kids. While a pair of toasty mittens or a knit hat might seem like a small gift, whatever you can give will make an effect! The Coats for Kids program makes a big impact on local families who are struggling to put food on the table and keep the heat on through the winter.

Donate online: Don’t have a coat to donate? Too busy to go shopping? You can still show your support by making a gift. Every $25 pays for a new coat in a needed size.

Hold a coat drive: Collect gently-used coats at your local business, church, or school, then bring them Classic Cleaners. We’ll take care of the rest.

Volunteer: Last year, over 2,500 kids came to the fairgrounds with their parents to pick out items to keep them warm through our unpredictable midwestern winter, and the Salvation Army needs an army of volunteers to make sure this year’s event goes off without a hitch.
