How long has Classic Cleaners been in business?
Classic Cleaners opened in Indianapolis in 1985. We’ve been serving the Indianapolis metro for over 40 years.
Where are your locations?

Are you locally owned?
Yes. Classic Cleaners is locally owned and independently operated. We are not a franchise or national chain.
What are your hours?
Hours vary by location. Most locations have 24/7 kiosks available for after-hours drop-off and pickup. For staffed hours, check your nearest location page.
Dry Cleaning FAQs
What items can be dry cleaned?
We dry clean suits, blazers, dress trousers, skirts, dresses, coats, silk, wool, cashmere, formal wear, and most other garments labeled “dry clean only.” We also handle specialty items, including leather, suede, and wedding gowns.
How long does dry cleaning take?
Most items are ready the next day. Same-day service is available at select locations for drop-offs before 9 a.m.
Are your cleaning solvents eco-friendly?
Yes. We use SystemK4, a non-toxic, biodegradable, and completely odorless dry cleaning fluid. It has received the highest rating from the dermatological community and is safer for garments, staff, and the environment.
What if you can't remove a stain?
We’ll let you know before you pick up. If a stain can’t be fully removed, we attach a note to the garment explaining the reason so there are no surprises.
Wash & Fold FAQs
How does Wash & Fold work?
Drop off your laundry in a Classic Cleaners bag, and we’ll wash, dry, and fold everything for you. No need to sort beforehand. Turnaround is typically next day, with same-day service available at select locations for drop-offs before 9 a.m.
How much does Wash & Fold cost?
Wash & Fold is priced at $3.15 per pound with a 10-pound minimum. The price is the same whether you drop off in store or use our route service. Confirm current pricing with your nearest location.
Can I use my own detergent?
Yes. Bring in your preferred detergent and fabric softener, and we’ll use them for your order.
Pickup & Delivery FAQs
What areas do you serve for pickup and delivery?
We cover a wide area across the Indianapolis metro, including Carmel, Fishers, Geist, Noblesville, Westfield, Zionsville, Whitestown, and throughout Indianapolis. Check our interactive service area map to confirm your address.
What is the turnaround time for pickup and delivery orders?
Your garments are cleaned and returned on your next scheduled route day. Service days run on Mondays and Thursdays or Tuesdays and Fridays, depending on your area.
How do I sign up for pickup and delivery?
Sign up through the Classic Cleaners app, online, or by calling your nearest location. Your driver will drop off a Welcome Kit on your first scheduled stop.

When should I clean my wedding gown after the wedding?
As soon as possible. Sugar-based stains from champagne and cake dry clear but cause yellowing over time. The sooner your gown is cleaned, the better the chance of full stain removal.
What is gown preservation?
Gown preservation is the process of cleaning and storing your gown in an archival-quality, acid-free box designed to protect the fabric for decades. Our MuseumCare™ process comes with a written 100% guarantee against sugar stains and yellowing.

Kiosks FAQs
How do the 24/7 kiosks work?
Follow the on-screen instructions to check in your garments and secure them in your assigned locker. Our team collects, cleans, and returns your items to the kiosk. You’ll receive a notification through the app or SMS when your order is ready.
What items can I drop off at a kiosk?
You can drop off most standard garments, including suits, shirts, dresses, and everyday clothing. For specialty items like wedding gowns or leather, we recommend visiting a staffed location first.

Pricing FAQs
How is pricing determined?
Pricing varies by service type and garment. Dry cleaning is priced per garment, Wash & Fold is priced by the pound, and alterations are priced by the type and complexity of the work. Ask at your nearest location for current pricing.
Are there hidden charges?
No. We give you a clear price before any work begins and charge you when your order is complete through our EZ Pay system.
Is pickup and delivery the same price as dropping off in the store?
Yes. Garment pricing is identical whether you use our route service or drop off in person.
